San Francisco Seinfeld Survivor

I wanted to have fun with the player names so one look at my roster and anyone who has seen some Seinfeld will recognize some names. I started with 31 players with Seinfeld names and only 1 isn't a full character's name, Kevin Feldman. That's a combo of 2 of the Bizarro Seinfeld gang as they just went by Kevin and Feldman.

Anyway we'll see how many seasons I can go with this until the last Seinfeld player is on my roster. I have 2 casualties already, leaving me with 29.

Kitzmiller had a horrible training camp, his ratings fell 13 points and I had to cut him. He was the bubble boy(roster wise that is, Donald Sanger was the bubble boy on the show) as I really didn't want to cut my 21st round pick or whatever he was. I wanted him on my roster even less though if he started out that bad.

Tom Pepper, aka Kramer in the Jerry pilot, was expendable as my WR #3. He played well the 6 games he was here but Denver needed WR help and I needed a draft pick. Reminds me, I want to check out how he's doing there.

2 down 28 to go before the Last Seinfeld Standing lmao.

Seems I made a couple of enemies haha. Tom Pepper's opinion of me is livid. LIVID lmao, first time I have seen that in the 4 months I've been here.

Kitzmiller is very unhappy with me as well. Well the feeling is mutual buddy, you're lucky Denver got you away from your sales job at The Lumbar Yard.

If you trade a player, look at them on their new roster ;)

Still have the same Seinfeld guys since I last posted here but I just cut my 2 NYPD Blue players to make room for my new QB's.

For you young ones, NYPD Blue was a 90's cop show and Bobby Simone was a detective played by Jimmy Smits while Danny Sorenson was played by Ricky Schroeder, though I think he went by Rick then.

Lost 6 during free agency. Wilhelm and Abbott are the 2 I wanted back most. I also wanted to keep 1 of my WR, Braun or Barth, but Cincinnati and the LA Rams had something to say about that.

Michael Barth...I didn't attempt to resign him last season as he wanted way more money than I wanted to pay. Then I see what the Rams paid him and all I can say is good for you buddy, glad you got paid. Thanks for your 2 seasons of service.

Lloyd Braun...similar to Barth but he wasn't as greedy with me. Good WR for me but again, didn't want to pay that price.

Mickey Abbott...I should have done a better job trying to resign him. I liked him well enough but I got greedy, and I lost him. Nice signing by Minnesota imo.

Matt Wilhelm...Sometimes I am stubborn and it showed in this case. As bad as I need OL I was trying not to overpay too much and mess up my cap. We were $1.5 million per year apart. Hindsight is 20/20 and we'll see how this pans out over time, but Moffitt and Romanowski are anxiously awaiting facing him in a non practice situation. I might add my cap room was much tighter at that time, I have room now due to trades.

John Germaine and Tobias Nagy were not offered contracts by me.

Barth will be my clear cut #1 WR...at only 24/25 years he will be a mainstay at my receving Corps for the foreseable future (at least i hope so :-))

Well my long running Tim Whatley saga is finally over after trading him to Dallas. His 5,018 passing yds and 40 TD passes are still the single season records in MFN 85. I would like to thank him for 2017 but it's best for him and the team for us to part ways.
